GriefCare Ministry

The vision and mission of GriefCare Ministry is to reach out in Christian love to those who have suffered the loss of a loved one and to walk through a very frightening, painful and often lonely time with them. Support Groups are available year round and are facilitated by trained and experienced leaders prepared to care for those who are suffering loss.
NurseCare Ministry

NurseCare Ministry is directed by a Parish Nurse who coordinates a team of parish nurses. The Parish Nurse sees that special needs are being met when a member returns home to convalesce following hospitalization. Utilizing a team of retired nurses, monthly blood pressure checkups are held in addition to exercise classes, health care seminars and an annual Flu Immunization Clinic.
PrayerCare Ministry
It is the desire of PrayerCare Ministry to pray over your prayer needs and join with you in your praises. Every day your requests will be sent to the Daily Prayer Team (people committed to take time each day for prayer) and to the prayer groups who gather weekly for prayer (the Prayer Partners and Prayer Warriors).
Please rest assured that your prayer requests will immediately be sent to a secure e-mail site and will be treated with utmost confidentiality.
Your request will remain active for one week unless you specify a longer period of time.
- To submit your request online click on the link at the bottom of the page.
- The PrayerCare Telephone Message Center is available at 623-249-4926.
RespiteCare Ministry

A team of RespiteCare Ministry volunteers provide brief periods of rest for primary caregivers who are providing constant care for a mate or friend who cannot or should not be left alone. A Respite caregiver may also sit with a member of the church family who is suffering a terminal illness and who is without family nearby.
SmallGroupCare Ministry
SmallGroupCare Ministry is designed to bring Christians together in small groups 6 to 8 where they find special opportunities for growth and service. The activities of SmallGroupCare include Christian care for one another, studying God’s Word together, praying for one another’s needs and finding ways to use God-given talents.
StephenCare (Stephen Ministry)

Stephen Ministers are well trained, dedicated men and women who are committed to lending an ear in times of crisis. They are available to assist others in confronting problems in crisis situations that can be overwhelming for a time. All caring relationships are treated with the highest degree of confidentiality.
